How to use screen sharing as a host in TVU Partyline

Use the TVU Partyline screen share feature in the Main Window control panel as a host to select and display a video source in the top-right Main Window for participants.

To use the screen share feature in TVU Partyline as a host:

  1. In the top center Main Window control panel, select a source to share from the drop-down menu to be displayed in the top-right Main Window for participants.

    Source selection descriptions:
    To select output from a receiver, select VFB (Receiver Video Return) in the first drop-down menu, then select the receiver from the list. You will see a pop-up menu giving you the option to hear the audio from this feed as a stereo output or as multiple audio channels.

    To select the output from a currently live TVU Producer program, select PP (Producer) from the first drop-down menu, then select the program from the list. You will see a pop-up menu giving you the option to hear the audio from this feed as a stereo output or as multiple audio channels.

    To select a screen that you are sharing or a participant through Partyline’s screen sharing function, select Shared Screen from the first drop-down menu, then select the participant’s name from the Select source drop-down menu.
  2. Click the Send button. The preview monitor to the right side of the Main Window panel will display the feed.
  3. You can switch to another feed using these menus at any time.
  4. To stop using the Main Window, click the Stop button in the Main Window panel.
  5. To stop sharing, click the Stop Screen Share icon.
