CUPERTINO, CA— April 7, 2026 — TVU Networks, the global leader in cloud and IP-based live video solutions, and Vela, a leader in advanced video monitoring, analytics, and multiviewer solutions, today announced a strategic partnership integrating TVU MediaMesh into VelaVision, Vela’s comprehensive stream monitoring and analytics platform. The combined solution provides broadcasters, streaming platforms, and live event producers with real-time visibility, low-latency multiviewing, and metadata-driven insights across distributed production workflows spanning cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.

As live production workflows continue to scale in complexity, supporting hundreds to thousands of concurrent streams across multiple locations, protocols and infrastructures, maintaining consistent quality, operational awareness, and real-time visual monitoring has become increasingly challenging. Traditional monitoring tools often lack the ability to combine deep analytics with intuitive, real-time viewing across distributed environments.

The integration of TVU MediaMesh and VelaVision addresses these challenges by delivering end-to-end observability paired with integrated multiviewing across the live video pipeline. MediaMesh’s cloud-native, microservices-based architecture powered by its remote shared memory fabric, enables seamless transport and processing of live media, while VelaVision provides deep analysis across more than 130 metrics per stream, including perceptual video quality scoring (VMAF, SSIM, PSNR), transport health, and metadata validation.

At the same time, VelaVision delivers professional-grade multiviewing capabilities, enabling operators to monitor up to 16 live streams simultaneously with WebRTC-based low-latency viewing. Persona-based dashboards, customizable layouts, and mobile-responsive interfaces ensure that operators, engineers, and executives can access the right views and insights in real time, from anywhere.

Built on a three-tier Intelligent Adaptive Monitoring™ architecture, VelaVision enables sub-second anomaly detection with predictive analytics and high accuracy at scale across 1,000+ concurrent streams. This allows teams to visually identify issues as they happen, correlate them with underlying metrics, and resolve them before they impact production or viewer experience.

Beyond monitoring and viewing, the partnership introduces advanced metadata services integrated directly into MediaMesh workflows, including SCTE-35 parsing, HLS manifest analysis, closed caption validation, Nielsen watermark detection, and asset identification through the X-ASSET framework. These capabilities enable customers to correlate video quality, transport performance, and metadata signals across the entire content lifecycle.

The integration is designed for seamless deployment within modern cloud environments, leveraging containerized services, Kubernetes orchestration, and open APIs.

By combining TVU MediaMesh and VelaVision, production teams gain a unified operational layer that combines real-time viewing, deep analytics, and metadata intelligence. The result is faster troubleshooting, improved coordination across distributed teams, and more reliable delivery of live content at scale. The combined solution delivers enhanced operational efficiency, faster issue resolution, improved compliance visibility, and better quality of experience for broadcasters and media organizations operating in today’s increasingly complex and distributed live production landscape.

“Modern live production demands not just flexibility, but full visibility, both in data and in real-time video,” said John Wastcoat, VP of Business Development at TVU Networks. “With the VelaVision TVU MediaMesh integration, we’re giving customers the ability to see, analyze and act on their workflows instantly, from anywhere.”

“VelaVision was built to give operators both deep insight and immediate visual awareness across their video workflows,” said Mike Reddy, CEO at Vela. “Our partnership with TVU Networks brings those capabilities directly into MediaMesh environments, enabling faster decisions and more reliable operations at scale.”

The integration will be available for demonstration at the NAB Show in the TVU booth W1717 in West Hall beginning April 19th.
