Cupertino, CA – February 17, 2025 – The 2025 Lantern Festival transformed Chengdu’s Jiaozi Avenue into a stunning fusion of tradition and technology. SCTV leveraged the popular Chinese animation character Ne Zha to create an immersive light show across the Tianfu Twin Towers’ media facades. The event drew thousands, while SCTV’s partnership with TVU enabled real-time streaming to audiences worldwide.

Building on their successful coverage of Daolang’s concerts, SCTV deployed their proven TVU One broadcast system paired with TVU Router’s multi-network aggregation. This combination provided the technical backbone for the ambitious broadcast.

Mobile journalism teams equipped with TVU One systems captured the event from every angle. The system’s HEVC format intelligent VBR encoding and proprietary Inverse StatMux Plus (IS+) technology ensured reliable transmission of the tower illuminations, festival atmosphere, and crowd reactions to SCTV’s studio.

To manage the dense network environment, SCTV employed TVU’s professional-grade Router multi-network aggregation system. This compact device combines six communication channels – including triple 5G links, WiFi, external data cards, and wired networks. Powered by IS+ algorithm, it delivered a stable 200Mbps network platform supporting both TVU One systems and production equipment.

The synergy between TVU One’s broadcast capabilities and TVU Router’s network optimization ensured SCTV’s success. Their “Ne Zha Celebrates the Lantern Festival” broadcast effectively merged ancient tradition with modern technology, delivering a memorable festival experience to viewers across all platforms.
