For its 2026 edition, the Brazilian media and broadcast technology event is expanding its official live coverage through a partnership with TVU Networks, connecting content acquisition, production, collaboration, artificial intelligence, and distribution in the cloud.
View Related ProductsSET TV, the official video platform of SET EXPO, has been turning the event’s key conversations, interviews, and industry highlights into audiovisual programming since 2018. In 2026, that coverage enters a new phase with an expanded production and distribution model powered by TVU Networks’ integrated cloud-based broadcast workflow.
SET EXPO is the largest gathering for the broadcast, media and entertainment technology industry in Latin America, bringing together professionals, technology providers, content producers and decision-makers from across the region. For this year’s edition, its official coverage will connect studio and show-floor contribution, live production, remote participation, AI-powered content creation and multi-platform distribution within a single cloud ecosystem.
The operation will deliver more than 20 hours of live programming across multiple platforms.
The initiative represents another step in SET EXPO’s mission to promote knowledge exchange while providing a real-world environment for experiencing the technologies shaping the future of the industry. Beyond documenting what happens during Latin America’s leading media and entertainment technology event, SET TV will expand its ability to follow the show in real time, produce live programming, and turn interviews, panel discussions and behind-the-scenes moments into content that can continue to circulate across multiple channels during and after the event.
The technology supporting the new operation will be provided by TVU Networks, while SET TV’s production will be led by Catuaí Conteúdos Audiovisuais, with hosting and editorial curation by Fernando Moura, in partnership with TV UNESP.
This approach also turns SET EXPO itself into a practical showcase for the technologies currently reshaping broadcast operations. Rather than simply discussing cloud production, IP connectivity, artificial intelligence and new distribution models on conference stages and exhibition floors, some of these technologies will be running behind the official coverage of the event itself.
“SET TV already plays an important role in covering SET EXPO and extending the value of the content generated during the event. What we are adding this year is a new technological layer that connects live production, mobility, remote collaboration, artificial intelligence and distribution within a single cloud-based workflow. There is also something particularly meaningful about putting this infrastructure to work at SET EXPO, in front of the professionals who are actively discussing the future of our industry. We are not simply presenting the technology — it will be powering the real-world coverage of the event”, Eduardo Mune, Sales Director, Brazil and Southern Cone, TVU Networks

Throughout the four days of SET EXPO, the SET Studio will serve as the central hub for SET TV’s programming, welcoming guests for interviews, analysis, and conversations around the most relevant topics shaping the media and broadcast industry.
But the coverage will extend well beyond the studio. A mobile crew will also move throughout the exhibition hall, bringing live images and interviews from different areas of the show floor directly into the central production workflow. This approach will allow SET TV to respond more quickly to product launches, industry discussions, and key voices at the event, combining studio programming with live coverage from across the exhibition.
Supporting this operation requires an infrastructure capable of connecting fixed production, mobile contribution, remote guests, and multiple distribution destinations within a single workflow. This is where the TVU Networks ecosystem comes into play.
The production environment developed for SET TV brings multiple TVU solutions together within a unified cloud-based workflow.
For signal acquisition and contribution, TVU RPS One will be used for both the studio camera feeds and mobile coverage from the exhibition hall. Equipped with four SDI inputs and six 5G modems, the system transports video signals directly to the cloud using TVU’s transmission technology, combining multiple network connections to provide greater reliability and low-latency transmission.
The signals are then sent to TVU Producer, which serves as the core of the production operation. From there, the team can switch between cameras, manage audio, insert graphics, and simultaneously record multiple versions of the program, including clean feeds and the complete program output.
Because the production environment is cloud-based, multiple stages of the workflow can be accessed within the same architecture, reducing dependence on a traditional on-site production infrastructure concentrated at the event venue.
Collaboration between the production team and external participants will be enabled through TVU Partyline, which provides low-latency video return feeds and makes it possible to bring remote guests directly into the live programming, including participants connecting through the TVU Anywhere app.
One of the most significant advances in the SET TV experience for 2026 happens after each interview or live segment goes off air.
Content produced throughout the event can be processed by TVU Search, TVU Networks’ AI-powered platform for transcription, indexing, and identifying relevant moments within recorded content.
In practice, an interview conducted on the show floor can quickly become the basis for new content across SET’s digital platforms.
Instead of manually reviewing hours of recorded footage, the team can search for specific topics, keywords, or statements, identify the most relevant moments, and generate new clips directly from content already available in the cloud.
TVU Channel completes the workflow by enabling the scheduling and playout of both live and recorded content across multiple distribution destinations.
The result is a connected media cycle: capture what is happening at the event, produce it live, distribute it, identify the most relevant moments, and turn the original broadcast into additional content for continued use across digital channels.
The use of TVU technology by SET TV reflects a broader transformation already underway across the media and broadcast industry: the shift toward more flexible production workflows built around IP connectivity and cloud infrastructure. At SET EXPO 2026, this transformation will not be limited to conference discussions or product demonstrations — it will be part of the event’s own official media operation.
“Since the launch of SET TV, our goal has been to expand access for SET members to the information and technical content produced during the event. Every year, we incorporate new technologies so that the platform can also serve as a laboratory for innovation. Together with TV UNESP, we aim to distribute information quickly and efficiently, extending the content generated at SET EXPO to professionals and others interested in audiovisual technology beyond the physical boundaries of Distrito Anhembi.”
Fernando Moura, Editor-in-Chief of SET Magazine and SET TV Coordinator
