“The beauty lies in our multi-network aggregation,” explained Jay Teodoro, BD Manager for TVU Networks SEA. “Our IS+ protocol intelligently combines 4G/5G, Wi-Fi,ethernet, and satellite connections simultaneously. Even in remote areas with poor infrastructure, we maintained stable, high-quality transmission.”
The system underwent its ultimate test from 5 AM voting start through late-night result announcements. All equipment maintained stable operation, transmitting HD video feeds to BNC’s Manila studio, where production teams managed thousands of simultaneous feeds for broadcast across television, online platforms, and social media.
The smartphone application proved particularly revolutionary. Through dual-link aggregation and H.265 encoding, ordinary phones became professional broadcasting devices. “This democratized our coverage capability,” noted BNC. “Journalists could broadcast professionally using just mobile networks.”
Results validated the approach. BNC achieved unprecedented geographic coverage while controlling costs significantly below traditional satellite solutions. The network’s comprehensive election reporting reached viewers across major cities through BEAM TV digital terrestrial broadcasting and Cignal platforms.
TVU, with 20 years of live transmission expertise supporting major global events, continues advancing broadcast technology. “This successful deployment demonstrates how integrated solutions can transform news gathering,” said Jay. “We’re enabling media organizations to maintain competitive advantages while delivering superior audience experiences.”
