TVU Networks Introduces TVU One IP, Bringing Broadcast-Grade Transmission to All-IP Productions

New ISX-based transmitter turns NDI, UVC and other IP sources into a bonded, broadcast-ready live feed — without SDI infrastructure, a production truck or a remote production hub.

CUPERTINO, Calif. — September 8, 2026 — TVU Networks, a global leader in cloud and IP-based live video solutions, today introduced TVU One IP, a new transmitter designed for production teams working entirely with IP-based video sources.

Built for sports, schools, houses of worship, corporate AV, conferences, regional broadcasters and other lean production environments, TVU One IP enables teams to produce a complete live program at the venue using cost-effective on-premise production tools, then transmit the finished feed over multiple aggregated network connections using TVU’s ISX (Inverse Statmux X) technology. It can also connect directly to IP sources such as NDI PTZ cameras, turning remote cameras into reliable live feeds even in challenging network conditions.

The approach addresses a fast-growing segment of live production where traditional broadcast infrastructure simply does not make economic or operational sense. Many teams today are already producing multi-camera shows using IP cameras, a laptop and software such as vMix or OBS, but still need a reliable way to get the finished program from the venue to a streaming platform, broadcaster or distribution partner.

TVU One IP closes that gap.

Instead of sending multiple individual camera feeds to a remote production facility, the show can be switched, mixed and produced locally. TVU One IP then takes the finished program feed and reliably transports it using a combination of cellular, Wi-Fi, wired internet and satellite connectivity, including Starlink. The feed can be delivered to a studio-based receiver or directly to the cloud for OTT distribution. 

For smaller productions, the workflow can be even simpler: a UVC-compatible USB camera can connect directly to the transmitter, enabling teams to go live with an affordable and flexible camera source, such as a DJI Osmo.

One finished show. Multiple paths to air.

For venues without dedicated fiber or broadcast infrastructure, connectivity can be one of the biggest risks. A single Wi-Fi connection, LTE hotspot or even a shared wired connection can quickly become unreliable when hundreds or thousands of people are competing for bandwidth.

TVU One IP uses TVU’s proven link aggregation technology to combine multiple available networks, providing greater resilience without requiring the venue itself to be broadcast-ready.

This makes it particularly well suited to the thousands of college, high school, regional and semi-professional sporting events that increasingly require live coverage but cannot justify the cost and complexity of a traditional production truck or remote production facility.

Designed around the way IP production already works

TVU One IP integrates into existing production environments rather than requiring teams to rebuild them around proprietary tools.

• All-IP production workflows: Receive finished program feeds from NDI-enabled software switchers and other compatible IP sources such as PTZ cameras.
• Direct USB camera support: Connect a UVC-compatible camera directly for simple single-camera productions.
• Bonded multi-network transmission: Combine cellular, Wi-Fi, wired internet and satellite connectivity for greater reliability.
• Less infrastructure at the venue: Reduce the need for SDI cabling, dedicated camera runs and traditional broadcast infrastructure.
• A path into the broader TVU ecosystem: Connect with TVU Grid, TVU RPS, TVU Producer, TVU MediaHub and other TVU solutions as production requirements expand.

TVU One IP complements the existing TVU One transmitter lineup. While other TVU One single-channel transmitters are designed around traditional video inputs, TVU One IP addresses a different workflow: the production is completed at the venue, and one finished program is transmitted.
