Former CTO of betevé, Oriol Icart, Joins TVU Networks as Senior Director of Technical Operations

BARCELONA, Spain – November 20, 2023 – TVU Networks, a leader in cloud-based live video solutions, today announced that Oriol Icart has returned to the company as its new Senior Director of Technical Operations for EMEA and CIS. Icart has held leadership roles in leading companies such as Dorna, MediaPro, and betevé throughout his career. Icart’s breadth of experience in sports and news broadcasting sectors will be instrumental in tailoring TVU Networks’ Cloud and on-prem solutions and services to broadcasters throughout the EMEA and CIS regions.

With over 25 years of experience observing and shaping the evolution of media workflows, Icart’s tenure in the industry brings invaluable foresight to TVU Networks. His transformative approach as CTO of several media organizations has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of the complexities and challenges media organizations face in the digital transition. Oriol’s expertise will be pivotal in guiding TVU’s clientele through the intricacies of modernizing their media supply chains, ensuring a seamless digital transformation, one step at a time.
