TVU is now offering the POWERPAC and POWERPAC 2 ultra-portable, V-type 50Wh and Gold mount 98Wh Li-ion battery packs. The intent was to produce a smaller, portable, and flexible battery pack that mounts to the TVU One transmitter Model TM1000 and Model TM1100 encoder backpack’s V-type and Gold-mount plates.

Introduction, setup, and operation -TVU POWERPAC and POWERPAC 2 Li-ion batteries

This guide provides safety, setup, and operation instructions for the TVU POWERPAC 50Wh and POWERPAC 2 98Wh Li-ion batteries.

Product overview

TVU One comes with an onboard lithium battery that provides up to 4.5 hours of live use. The TVU POWERPAC and POWERPAC 2 Li-ion battery extend the life of a TVU One transmission indefinitely, by allowing the operator to hot-swap the external TVU POWERPAC without interrupting the TVU One live transmission.

During the hot-swap period, the power draw switches to the onboard battery. When a POWERPAC is mounted to the TVU One backpack’s mounting plate, it powers the transmitter and charges the onboard battery.

	Introduction, features, and quick start

TVU G-Link software feature is an Internet-based, licensed solution for point-to-point live transmission that provides an affordable way of sharing live video between two locations. The G-Link software feature allows a receiver to transmit video to and from another G-Link receiver (point-to-point) for bidirectional transmission. The TVU G-Link software feature is added to the existing VS3100, VS3200, VS3500, and VS3600 server Web interface and is accessed and enabled in the Feature Control menu.

The TVU Server is the primary hardware component of TVU G-Link. With the G-Link software license, two servers can simultaneously send and receive a broadcast-quality video feed to/from each other. A TVU Server with the TVU G-Link software license takes a variety of incoming video types and formats, including incoming TVU One and TVU Anywhere transmissions, SDI input, and external IP sources. A TVU Server with a TVU G-Link software license also outputs in SDI and various IP formats in high resolution and can send feeds directly to social media platforms such as YouTube and Facebook via an optional IP streaming software.

Note: Prior authorization for the G-Link feature is required by the TVU Support team at support@tvunetworks.com.

TVU now offers the POWERPAC and POWERPAC 2 ultra-portable, v-mount, 50 and 98 Wh Li-ion battery packs. The intent was to produce a smaller, portable, and flexible battery pack that mounts to the TVU One transmitter v-mount plate.

	Introduction, setup, and operation

Introduction, setup, and operation -TVU POWERPAC Li-ion battery

This guide provides safety, setup, and operation instructions for the TVU POWERPAC 50 Wh and POWERPAC 2 98 Wh Li-ion batteries.

Product overview

TVU One has an onboard lithium battery that provides up to 4.5 hours of live use. The TVU POWERPAC and POWERPAC 2 Li-ion battery extend the life of a TVU One transmission indefinitely by allowing the operator to hot-swap the external TVU POWERPAC without interrupting the TVU One live transmission.

During the hot-swap period, the power draw switches to the onboard battery. When a POWERPAC is mounted to the TVU One backpack’s v-mount plate, it powers the transmitter and charges the onboard battery.
